What has your career path been like in Knauf Insulation?

After finishing high school, I decided to get a job straight away, but, at the same time, I enrolled at university. I spent the first year and a half as a production worker. Working in four shifts alongside going to university was quite challenging. During my time in production, I also worked on the line as a quality controller.

My experience in production and knowledge of products and processes was useful later when I took on the role of production planner. However, as I was increasingly interested in sales, two years later I gladly accepted an invitation to join the customer service team, and three years later I took over sales management for the Slovene market.

It was quite challenging, but I was in for an even bigger challenge and took on my current position as Commercial Director for Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia.

What do you love the most about your job?

Working in construction is very dynamic and challenging, thus offering opportunities to continuously improve and upgrade approaches. And if you are surrounded by positive and motivated colleagues, the work becomes a real pleasure.

I find the Knauf Insulation environment extremely open and it allows for the growth and development of individuals, as well as teams.
